Dit boek is een eerbetoon aan de kunst en cultuur in de QI en een pleidooi voor het behoud van atelier- en woonruimten voor kunstenaars in de veranderende stad. Het belicht de grote diversiteit van de projecten die in vier decennia zijn ontwikkeld en de betekenis van de QI als creatieve productieplaats. For years, the green peninsula was a pawn in the development of the Port of Rotterdam, and in 2024 the artists were finally forced to leave the QI site. With this book as a lasting monument, the authors aim to emphasize the importance of cultural incubators for Rotterdam’s identity.
